June babysat for Diego when he joined her sister's band for a series of concerts。 He got to know someone other than the timid and quiet girl she seemed to be。 His little boy took to her immediately and she was the first person he turned to when he needed someone to look after Milo for the summer。 Soon she stole his heart, same as his son's but they were at different places in their lives and the stars may never align for them to be together。 Will Diego be able to live his future without her or w June babysat for Diego when he joined her sister's band for a series of concerts。 He got to know someone other than the timid and quiet girl she seemed to be。 His little boy took to her immediately and she was the first person he turned to when he needed someone to look after Milo for the summer。 Soon she stole his heart, same as his son's but they were at different places in their lives and the stars may never align for them to be together。 Will Diego be able to live his future without her or will he realize that no prize is too high to pay to be with her? This book just wasn’t it for me。 There are some parts I absolutely loved and other parts I didn’t like at all。 I think it was confused on what it wanted to be。 There were also some things that just were never brought up。 Single parent is one of my favorite tropes and that part of the book was excellent。 Other parts just didn’t make sense to me。

This checked all the right boxes for a single dad/nanny romance for me。 Everything was going perfectly then boom… third act break up and it broke my heart a little to see them so in love with each other but so proud of June that she finally stood up for what she wanted。 I wanted to pull Diego’s head out of his ass for him, luckily he did in time。 I loved little Milo and Junes relationship he’s an adorable and hilarious kid。

Only reason it gets a 5 star is because of the epilogue

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I *adore* the nanny/boss trope and the relationship between June & Diego is built in a lovely and realistic manner。 My main quarrel with the book is the wanting/not wanting kids argument as a motivation for the (always expected) third act breakup, at the end of the day, how easily it’s solved。 Maybe it’s the fact that it’s a touchy subject for me? I just feel like it could’ve been managed better or there was another route to take there。Lovely spice, hitting just the perfect soft dom that we all I *adore* the nanny/boss trope and the relationship between June & Diego is built in a lovely and realistic manner。 My main quarrel with the book is the wanting/not wanting kids argument as a motivation for the (always expected) third act breakup, at the end of the day, how easily it’s solved。 Maybe it’s the fact that it’s a touchy subject for me? Another hit from Julia Wolf。 This was a really good。 I really enjoyed the whole book but the last portion of the book was fantastic!!! June was such an amazing person。 Anyone would be blessed to have her for a friend。 Diego didn't want people to know he was good。 He had been burned and was sure any relationship would end in disaster。 The best part of the book was watching them grow into the people that they were destined to be。 I definitely recommend reading this book however I do recommend read Another hit from Julia Wolf。 This was a really good。 I really enjoyed the whole book but the last portion of the book was fantastic!!! I was always gonna like this。 It’s got all the tropes I like。 It could’ve been written like trash and I’d still have liked it, probably。New to me author, and one I’ll deffo read more from。 I didn’t even know this was pretty new out when picking it up。

someone needs to make a chart for all the friends and siblings and their children because there was so much name dropping of characters and I could not keep track of everyone

This book is perfection! I absolutely adored it! The author did such a great job with this story, I have been waiting for Diego’s story for so long and my expectations were so high, I was kind of worried but I should not have! She definitely exceeded them!!

I really loved reading about June and Diego and seeing the cast of TSC again。 June and Diego are complete opposites, but I really like how they brought each other out of their shells。 June is very timid, living a life controlled by her family。 However, she's sweet and loves children, and her caring personality is evident in everything she does。 Diego's had a rough childhood too, and now he's living for his son。 He wants to provide Milo with a stable and safe childhood, one he never had。I was tot I really loved reading about June and Diego and seeing the cast of TSC again。 June and Diego are complete opposites, but I really like how they brought each other out of their shells。 June is very timid, living a life controlled by her family。 However, she's sweet and loves children, and her caring personality is evident in everything she does。 Diego's had a rough childhood too, and now he's living for his son。 He wants to provide Milo with a stable and safe childhood, one he never had。I was totally surprised by June's sexuality, and how open and knowledgeable she is。 I love the communication between them, and how Diego really forces June to speak about what she needs so he can care for her。 I actually really like that even though June is timid, she puts her foot down when it comes to what she wants for her future。 It took Diego awhile to come around, but I really admired June for acknowledging her dreams and not settling。 。。。more

wowWow, just wow! I have totally fallen in love with Diego, June, and Camilo。 June appears so meek and mild but she is truly a strong, Smart and loyal person。 Diego seems rough around the edges but shows he has a heart of gold。 Abuse and addiction have plagued them both。 Can’t wait to see what happens next。

This book was amazing I loved it so much! Milo was the sweetest little boy! Diego and June were everything!! There was no spice until like the middle of the book but I didn’t care the story was so good but when the spice came it didn’t disappoint like dang! It got kinda sad near the end of the book I cried a couple of times lol。 The ending was so cute!

Absolutely loved this story。 June was a great heroine and different than other heroines I have come across in books。 She starts off as kind of being a meek pushover, but that’s because her parents treat her like crap。 Once she leaves, she comes into herself and we see a woman with a backbone… and surprise! A praise kink! Love me a good praise kink book。 Oh Diego, my poor recovering addict with the cutest son, Milo。 His story was deep and somewhat heart breaking。 It shows the real experiences tha Absolutely loved this story。 June was a great heroine and different than other heroines I have come across in books。 She starts off as kind of being a meek pushover, but that’s because her parents treat her like crap。 Once she leaves, she comes into herself and we see a woman with a backbone… and surprise! Diego has had a rough life but has come out the other end sober and a single father and likes the control in his life which means no girlfriend and no distractions, June however is a big unexpected distraction。 The push/pull between these two is infuriating at times especially with how June is willing to give so much yet Diego blows hot and cold, fortunately for June Diego's family is so welcoming and allow her to see what a real family is like, not that her sister isn't totally supporting but a Diego has had a rough life but has come out the other end sober and a single father and likes the control in his life which means no girlfriend and no distractions, June however is a big unexpected distraction。 The push/pull between these two is infuriating at times especially with how June is willing to give so much yet Diego blows hot and cold, fortunately for June Diego's family is so welcoming and allow her to see what a real family is like, not that her sister isn't totally supporting but a whole family as June's Dad is a douche canoe and her mother follows her fathers lead。 There is lots for both June and Diego to unpack about their lives not just the past, but the here and now if they have any chance of a future and boy are you left wondering up to the end on whether pride and stubbornness will win over love! 。。。more

Diego wins for the best praise in a book boyfriend to date for me! Even over my main man Emerson which is a big feat for me! He’s a soft dom and I’m 100000% here for it! The subtle “good girl” comments for small tasks, making sure his lady is taken care of, commanding in the bedroom 🫠 this book checked all the marks for me!
